A free class for parents and caregivers, once a month
One Saturday morning a month, Rooted Pathways hosts a free, online parent training class for the adults raising and caring for neurodivergent kids and teens. No fee, no membership required, no pressure to book anything afterward. Just an honest hour of behavior-informed support, in plain language, with real questions and real answers.
What each class looks like
- One main topic — a routine that’s falling apart, a behavior that has everyone stuck, a transition that’s coming up (back to school, a new sibling, a move, the holidays)
- Live Q&A — bring your actual situation, and I’ll work through it with you in front of the group
- One small thing to try this week — never homework, never a whole new system, just one move you can make tomorrow
- Resource list sent out by email after class
- ~60 minutes total, online via video call
To reserve your spot and receive the meeting link, email toni@rootedpathwaysbehavioralwellness.com at least 24 hours before the class starts. Sign-ups close 24 hours before each class so the meeting link can be sent out and the group size kept manageable.
How to sign up
- Email toni@rootedpathwaysbehavioralwellness.com.
- Use the subject line “Free Parent Class — Sign-up.”
- Include your name and the date of the class you’d like to attend.
- You’ll receive the meeting link by email at least a few hours before the class.
If you don’t get the link by the morning of the class, please email again — it most likely went to a spam folder.
Have a topic you’d like covered?
Future classes are shaped by what families actually want to talk about. If you have a specific topic, behavior, or transition you’d like discussed in an upcoming class, send it to the same email:
toni@rootedpathwaysbehavioralwellness.com · subject line: “Free Parent Class — Topic Suggestion.”
You can stay anonymous in the class itself — suggestions are never read aloud with names attached.
Who this class is for
- Parents and caregivers of autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent kids and teens
- Caregivers who are not sure yet but suspect something is going on
- Grandparents, foster and adoptive parents, kinship caregivers
- Co-parents, step-parents, and anyone in a caregiving role
- Friends and family members who want to understand and support better
Professionals (teachers, paras, school staff) are welcome to attend, but the room is built around caregivers. If you’d like training specifically for your team, see Schools & Staff Training or Public Service Worker Training.
The class is general information for caregivers. It is not a clinical service, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan. If your child or family is in crisis, please reach out to a licensed provider, call or text 988, call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.
